Over 25 Years as a Bellevue Public School of Choice

Despite a history of more than 25 years of producing excellent citizens and students; due to lack of support from the school administration, the parents, students and faculty made the choice to close the school at the end of the 2000-2001 school year.

Olympus Northwest School is a partnership of students, staff, and parents dedicated to the empowerment of self-directed, creative, independent learners. The mission of Olympus is to provide a nurturing experience in which students' individual social, emotional, and academic needs are met through an integrated curriculum. Through an emphasis on choice, responsibility, and accountability, we will instill in the emerging adult a respect for diversity and a passion for life-long learning.

Formerly an alternative middle school within the Bellevue, Washington School District.
